I have had the opportunity to teach both art and intuition classes for children and adults. I feel the traditional ways of learning are becoming outdated. People are opening up and wanting to "discover" and have experiences for themselves rather than have information regurgitated back to them out of a book.
Working in the creative field of Art and "woo-woo" field of Intuition let me take liberties to teach in a new way. I listened to what my students were asking and yearning for and then filled that gap in a way that made education a fun and co-creative experience.
These days with all the Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children on this planet we as teachers need to step up and meet them at their genius levels. They are ushering in high vibration energy and we can learn as much from them as they do from us.
I conducted a "Society Experiment" with one of my classes. The insights that I came away with were astonishing. I rolled out a 6 foot piece of white paper on a conference room table and told them they can create their own society. They had discussions on how to handle getting water, growing food, rehabilitating people who have broken laws and of course the mode of transportation would be golf carts (so much more fun than cars)!
They proceeded to draw out what this community looked like, the rules governing them (which were to make sure people were emotionally OK and happy first and foremost). The compassion and intelligence that went into creating this society gave me goosebumps and hope for the future. The thing that touched me the most is how they designed the houses. Everyone's home had a pathway connected to the neighbor's home so that if anyone was sad or lonely in the middle of the night they could easily follow the tunnel so they could comfort one another.
This class taught me more than I could have ever taught them. I feel education needs to move to a co-creation process where all involved, teacher and students, each utilize their own strengths and gifts to make the whole a better place.
Venus will be turning retrograde from October 5, 2018 - November 15, 2018. The periods when Venus retrogrades is a time when unresolved issues from past relationships can emerge and ex's do tend to come back and clear up some unresolved business. So, if you hear from an ex, out of the blue during this period don't be surprised.
It's a great time to complete projects that have been started and left unfinished and time to focus inward. Take time to meditate, be in nature, time alone to reflect is very helpful during this period. Plan, dream and focus on what you would like to create for the final quarter of 2018. We are currently in the harvest energy now, notice what you have already manifested and be grateful. Clear out closets metaphorically, emotionally and physically. It is a great time to let go of things that no longer serve your highest good.
Materials: Paper, pen, clay pot (or something you can burn in) and a lighter
1. Write down 3 things you feel you are ready to release (these can be people, situations, beliefs or patterns).
2. Once you have them written down, tear up the piece of paper and put the pieces into the clay pot
3. Light the paper with the lighter and as the pieces burn, feel yourself letting go of the things that were holding you back.
(Note: Be careful and never leave the pot unattended, take all safety precautions.)
4. Dispose of the burnt paper by either burying it in the ground or wetting the pieces of paper and throwing them in the garbage.
5. OPTIONAL: You can take a salt bath or do a salt scrub to energetically remove any debris left in your Aura.
Why not have something beautiful in your environment that makes you feel good, while being functional, and raising the energy at the same time?
Humanity as a collective is far more health conscious than ever before. We exercise, eat well, advocate for our planet and are mindful what we put in and on our bodies. Everything is energy, so what do we do to maintain good mojo in our environment?
Color and crystals contain certain frequencies. You can elevate the vibe in your home or office by using items with these higher vibrations contained within them.
I am an artist and light worker who uses customized crystals and colors in my acrylic paintings.
My process for creating a custom painting includes asking the person what energy they would like to enhance in a particular room and then customize a painting for them with individual colors and crystals tailored to their needs. Colors have an effect on us because of wavelengths they carry provoking emotions and emitting vibrations.
Yellow captures the joy of the feel of the sun on our face and stimulates happiness. It helps to reduce depression giving us a sense of renewal. It is optimal for the human body to get at least 10 minutes of sunlight per day.
Orange is an energetic and enthusiastic color.
Red is an active color and helps to aid the metabolism.
Green is a calm and soothing color.
Blue is a mentally relaxing color, think water and the ocean.
Combining colors and crystals in a custom energy painting can provide some added energy support to your home or office.
To activate more prosperity in your life it is good to place an energy art painting with citrine in your home office or wealth area. A parent who is struggling with a baby or child who can’t sleep at night can use an energy painting containing charoite which aids with insomnia and difficulty settling into sleep. To promote togetherness in the family room I would do a painting with amethyst and rose quartz.
Most of us have heard keeping clutter at bay and surrounding yourself with things you love helps to affect your mood. This is so true because when we see objects in our environment, subconsciously we have emotions attached to them. Photos of fun times with family and friends invoke happiness while an item from a previous relationship may cause sadness.
I interview the client and ask a series of questions regarding colors they like and dislike and what “feel” they want to experience in their space. Next, I put together a sample board of colors and crystals and a sketch of the art for approval and then the painting begins.
I have always been inspired by nature, interior design, and energy work. I began utilizing these themes as the common denominator in my art. It dawned on me that all these areas of interest nicely meld together perfectly to form energy artwork. Why not have something beautiful in your environment that makes you feel good while being functional and raising the energy at the same time?!
The definition of the word manifest is: clear or obvious to the mind or eye.
You will need a few supplies before we start: paper, pencil, pen, or marker, crystals Peridot, Turquoise, and Lavender Aragonite.
Note: To further enhance the energy you can purchase the actual crystals and keep them with your soul map if you’d like or you can print photos of the crystals out and use those.
The purpose of this crystal ritual is to release what is holding you back, focus on what you would like to create, and then invoke the energies of the crystals Peridot, Turquoise, and Lavender Aragonite to help you create it. This is a hands-on ritual where you will create a map to help manifest what you would like to have show up in your physical world. It is great to go into this experience with an open mind and joyful spirit.
The following is a list of the crystals, energy and the chakras they connect with.
Peridot = Emotional Cleansing
Energy of Peridot: High
Chakras: Heart and Solar Plexus
Turquoise = True Riches
Energy of Turquoise: Medium to High
Chakras: Throat and Third Eye
Lavender Aragonite = Environmental Clearing
Energy of Lavender Aragonite: High
Chakras: Base, Third Eye, and Crown
Step 1: Releasing the old
Write down 3 things that weigh you down, stress you out or that you lose sleep over at night. Just write down the first 3 things that pop into your head, don’t over think this. The first things that cross your mind are perfect. Take this paper with the list you would like to let go of and burn it or tear it up and throw it away, either method is fine. We are releasing the old and making space for the new to enter our life.
Step 2: Focusing on the new
Take out another piece of paper. Write down 3 things you would like to create in your life. Be specific on the feeling this person, object or situation would bring you. Emotions powerfully assist us in the creation process. Be very clear on the feeling you would experience without being overly specific about the way it will look. We can get so caught up in the HOW it will show up, which is the Universe’s job to supply us with our request, that sometimes it doesn’t come to us because it was going to show up in blue but we ONLY were open to receiving it in red.
(Example: a trip to Turks & Caicos would make me FEEL happy, relaxed and nourished).
Step 3: Creating your manifesting soul map
This is the fun part! Flip over the paper that you wrote your 3 things to manifest on. You are going to doodle your own soul map to attract them to you. Here is where you have to keep an open mind because you are going to doodle your map with your eyes closed. The images, scribbles and whatever comes out of the pen and onto the paper bypass the logical judgment of your mind when your eyes are shut. There is NO wrong way to do this left-brainers! Let whatever flows out onto the paper come out, it’s all good! Continue to doodle until you feel like everything that wants to show up is out on the paper. Open your eyes. The doodled soul map may make no sense to you because it comes directly from your subconscious. It may have legible images and words or may just look like scribbles, either way, it is encoded with the energy of what you would like to create.
Step 4: Invoking the crystal energy
The next step is to write the following sentences on your doodled soul map:
Step 5: Stay detached and be the observer
Pay attention to your dreams and the clues that begin showing up in your day to day life providing evidence that what you created is on its way to you!
